Bordeaux and Paris

Just a couple of weeks after we got back from Sri Lanka, we had to make an impromptu run to Bordeaux, France on March 5 for business (more on that in a later post). Specifically, we went to Sainte Foy-La-Grande, Saint Emillion, and La Reole in the Gironde Department of the Aquitaine Region.

Even though our trip was a short 4 days in total, we had a day or two in Paris, which coincided with Paris Fashion Week. The Capital was a buzz with celebrities and beautiful people wearing the latest couture. We were a bit underdressed and lacking of any significance.

Our single mission in Paris was to check out the newly opened, Frank Gehry designed, Louis Vuitton Foundation contemporary art museum. The museum is located in the middle of the Bois de Boulogne park in the 16th Arrondissement.
