Having to work on Christmas sucks, so we decided to make the most of the holiday season in the Middle East by taking a few days and spending them on Sir Baniyas Island, west of Abu Dhabi, near the border with Saudi Arabia.
The weather was cold and windy, or at least as cold and windy as it gets in this part of the world, so the highlight of our trip was the safari around the island.
